Flagship course
Field Evidence Ledger
A six-module programme that teaches teams to operate an asset verification audit app as a disciplined evidence system—not a checklist app with a logo.
What you will be able to do
- Configure intake fields so every count starts with the same definitions.
- Capture field evidence with photo, geo, and custodian attestation rules.
- Triage variances using a severity matrix tied to materiality thresholds.
- Produce a close pack that internal audit can sample without re-walking the floor.
Who it suits
Inventory controllers, fixed-asset accountants, facilities leads, and IT asset managers in United Kingdom organisations who already have (or are selecting) an asset verification audit app and need the operating model around it.
Modules
- 01Scope & asset taxonomy
Map what counts as an asset for this cycle, who owns it, and which statuses are allowed in the app.
- 02Field capture standards
Photo angles, serial capture, location tags, and rejection rules for incomplete uploads.
- 03Reconciliation loops
Match system records to field findings; document timing differences versus true misses.
- 04Exception narratives
Write short, evidence-backed explanations that survive a second reviewer.
- 05Custodian gates
Design sign-off steps so ownership is explicit before finance posts adjustments.
- 06Close & sample packs
Assemble exports, sampling keys, and retention notes for the next audit season.

Learner notes
“Module 02’s rejection examples matched what our warehouse leads were already arguing about. We still struggle with night-shift coverage, so the course didn’t magically fix staffing—but the standards are now written down.”Priya N. · Operations analyst, West Midlands
“The close-pack template alone justified the time. Our external auditors asked fewer follow-ups this year.”Anonymous client in higher education estates
FAQ
Do you teach a specific vendor’s asset verification audit app?
No. Exercises use generic screens and CSV exports. You map the concepts onto your own tool. If your app lacks photo geotags or custom statuses, some exercises will require workarounds—we say that openly in Module 02.
Is there a real limitation we should know about?
Yes. This course does not cover statutory valuation or IFRS measurement. It focuses on existence and condition evidence. Teams expecting valuation guidance will need a separate accounting programme.
How much live time is required?
Self-paced lessons average six to eight hours. Live clinics are optional but recommended; most learners attend three of six sessions.
Can we cancel?
